Chanting a lot, all day long and practising this skill to develop attachment to the holy name - this is our idea. It is difficult to do this on one's own at home or in an ashram - there are always distractions.

That is why we have conceived retreats with immersion, where there are several consecutive stages: to devote to the holy name first 1 day, then 3, 5, 10 days.

Nama-nishtha (lite) is a lighter version. One day, no overnight stays, 9 hours of japa.

You are constantly distracted by something from the quality immersion in chanting
You want the experience of chanting a large number of rounds or helping others to do so

to help us immerse ourselves in the chant:

Mauna

Vow of silence, a regime of silence for the duration of the retreat to focus on what is important

Etiquette

Separate retreats for mataji and prabhu to avoid distractions

No phones

Phones are dropped off at check-in and returned on the day of departure

RETREAT SCHEDULE:

Day 1

7:00 Check-in, accommodation.
7:30 Getting to know each other, retreat rules, setting up, sankalpa, kirtan, smartphone drop-off, mauna.
9:00 Light breakfast.
9:30 Japa. Tune-ups every 3 hours.
15:00 Lunch.
15:30 Japa.
19:00 Reflexion. Final kirtan.
20:00 Departure.
